Summer
2008 Workshops
Printmaking
The
CAC built one of the largest presses in the country and the only
one readily available to artists. The Monster Press has a bed measuring
5 x 10 feet, with total pressure of 800,000 lbs. If you've never
made a 4-by-8 foot print, here will be your opportunity to do so.
There are also a number of smaller hydraulic presses, perfect for
monotype printmaking, along with other techniques. The print facilities
also include a Brandt etching press, and silk-screen equipment.

Peer-to-
Peer Workshops
Throughout
the season, local or visiting artists may propose a "peer-to-peer"
workshop. These workshops are taught informally with general, rather
than advanced, information. The structure is based more on the idea
of information exchange than a Master/Student relationship. If you
are interested in teaching a class please email or phone the CAC
with your proposal.
